Are Folding Smartphones going to lead the future mobile industry

Today we are going to discuss about foldable smartphones.

We've seen quite a lot of companies working and releasing their folding, flipping, and rolling smartphones and some of them like the Galaxy Z Fold 2 have been quite successful. That makes us think that are these foldable smartphones going to be the future.

                          

Samsung has released a couple of smartphones like the Galaxy Z Flip and the Galaxy Z Fold 2 which fall into this category. Motorola also joined the league with its Moto Razr 5G.
And Oppo is also developing its rollable phone which it calls the Oppo X1 2021.

                            

Earlier this week we also saw Apple filing a patent for a hinge design that may be used in its folding iPhone.

Although there were some problems in developing these foldable phones like how to fold or flip the display screen without making it prone to breakage but with so many companies working on it, the challenges are sorted out and we can see various foldable phones in the market.

So the question now is whether or not will these foldable smartphones be the future of the smartphone industry.
